Join us for a Town Hall meeting on Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Main Sanctuary.
Your presence is important as we come together to discuss the next steps in our transition.

In collaboration with Be Well’s Face the Moment initiative and Denver Health, the Faith to Be Healthy Ministry will be hosting a "free" vaccine clinic in the gym, on Saturday, November 8th, from 10am – 2pm. Vaccines will be available for adults and children 6 months and older. There will also be physicians available to answer vaccine and general health questions. This is for the church family, friends and community at large so please share with others.

Church Food Drive Announcement
As many of you may know, during the government shutdown, the SNAP benefit program—which helps provide food for individuals and families in need—will no longer be issuing benefits as of November 1st.
Now, more than ever, we are called to come together and support those who may be struggling. There may be people within our own church family, our community, our neighborhoods, or even among our friends, family, and coworkers who need a little extra help during this holiday season.
We are asking each of you to give as God places on your heart to help ensure that no one goes without this Thanksgiving.
The Greeters Ministry will be collecting non-perishable food items in the vestibule. To make giving easy, they have prepared a list of suggested items based on the first letter of your last name. If you have any questions, please see one of the greeters for guidance.
Let us remember the words of Matthew 25:35 (ESV):
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me in.”
Together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus—meeting needs, showing love, and making a difference in our community.

Angel Tree
This year, the RSMBC Deaconess Board is excited to continue the beautiful tradition of the RSMBC Angel Tree. As we enter this season of giving and grace, we invite you to participate in a special love offering to support this effort. Through this initiative, we have the chance to provide gift cards to families who may need help during the holiday season. With your generosity, we’ll be able to give gifts, hope, and a reminder of God’s love to those who might otherwise go without.
Every dollar donated directly funds gift cards to support Angel Tree families. Whether it’s a small contribution or a generous gift, your donation will truly make a difference.
The Angel Tree donation box will be available today after church in the vestibule.
The Angel Tree will be available on November 23rd and 30th. For more information, contact your favorite Deaconess. Thank you for being a church that gives with open hearts!
In the name of Jesus,
Deaconess Flora Young, President
Deaconess Board

Social circumstances, political disarray, unjust systems, failed policies, and crumbling environments, combined with a worldwide pandemic, inherited dysfunctions, limited economic mobility, systemic racism, and communication divides, have led to the breakdown of the “health” of our families and communities.
Face the Moment is be well's call for everyone to rise up, support each other, and actively build a healthier, more equitable future. Now more than ever, community support, resource-sharing, and resilience are crucial. This campaign is about strengthening connections and taking action to address the deep-seated issues impacting our neighborhoods.
Today, we’re navigating a crucial time where the need for justice, health equity, and community resilience is front and center. Rising challenges in health and economic stability are pushing us to act. This moment is a chance for us to step up together, ensuring our communities are strong, connected, and prepared to face whatever lies ahead.
Facing this moment means building a future where everyone has access to support and resources, regardless of background. By standing together, we work to reduce health disparities, promote mental wellness, and strengthen the foundations of our communities. Each action we take now leaves a legacy of hope, resilience, and equity for the generations to come.
Every one of us has a role in facing this moment. Whether you’re a parent, a community leader, a neighbor, or a young person with a vision, Face the Moment calls us to step forward. Together, we have the strength to make the changes our communities need and create neighborhoods where everyone can thrive.
Since its inception in 2004, the be well Health and Wellness Initiative has strived to “advance equitable policies, programs and research by building the capacity of residents to advocate for the tools and resources they need to lead healthy lives and reduce the spread of health disparities.” be well is effectively fueling policies and practices that promote health equity by empowering communities to address structural racism. A key priority of the Initiative is to ensure all stakeholders have an active voice in determining the future of their communities. In addition, be well believes that strategic network building is central to sustainability and, to that end, invests in maintaining existing partnerships and establishing new ones with businesses and organizations, schools, individuals, and residents, among others, to leverage collective assets to better realize shared goals. The Initiative is also invested in scaling its tried and tested community mobilization model that is designed to address the root cause of health inequities – unjust systems – locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.
